Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the cells of the breasts. It can occur in both men and women, but it is much more common in women. Breast cancer most often starts off in the inner lining of milk ducts and can spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms may include a lump or thickening in the breast, changes to skin texture such as puckering or dimpling, nipple discharge, and swelling or redness of the breast. Treatment for breast cancer may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
