Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a set of physical and psychological symptoms that occur in the days leading up to a woman's menstrual cycle. Common symptoms include mood swings, irritability, bloating, fatigue, cramps, breast tenderness and food cravings. PMS can vary from woman to woman and can range from mild to severe. Treatment options may include lifestyle changes such as exercise, stress management or dietary changes as well as medications such as hormonal contraceptives or antidepressants.
