Lice

Lice are small, parasitic insects that feed on the blood of humans and other animals. They can be found on the head, body, and pubic area. They are spread through direct contact with an infested person or object, such as a comb or hat. Lice infestations can cause itching and irritation of the skin, but they do not typically spread disease. Treatment for lice includes medicated shampoos, creams, sprays, and combs to remove the lice and eggs from the hair and skin.
