Asthma

Asthma is a chronic lung disease that affects the airways, causing them to become narrow and making it difficult to breathe. Symptoms of asthma include coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing. Asthma can be triggered by allergens such as pollen or dust mites, cold air, exercise, or certain medications. Treatment for asthma includes avoiding triggers and using medications such as inhalers and steroids to reduce symptoms.
