Allergies

Allergies are a type of immune system disorder that occurs when the body's immune system reacts to normally harmless substances in the environment. Allergens, such as pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and certain foods, can trigger an allergic reaction. Symptoms of an allergic reaction can range from mild to severe and may include sneezing, coughing, itching, rashes, hives and swelling. In some cases, anaphylaxis can occur which is a life-threatening reaction that requires immediate medical attention.
