Leg Pain

Leg pain is any discomfort or soreness in one or both of the legs. It can range from a mild ache to a sharp, stabbing pain. Causes of leg pain include muscle strains, nerve compression, arthritis, blood clots, and injuries. Treatment for leg pain depends on the underlying cause and may include rest, stretching exercises, physical therapy, medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or surgery.
