Coronary Artery Disease

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is a type of heart disease caused by the buildup of plaque in the coronary arteries, which are the blood vessels that supply oxygen-rich blood to the heart. Plaque buildup can reduce or block blood flow to the heart, leading to chest pain (angina), a heart attack, or even death. CAD is one of the most common types of heart disease and is a major cause of death worldwide.
