Chlamydia

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis. It can be spread through unprotected vaginal, oral, or anal sex with someone who has the infection. Symptoms of chlamydia include abnormal discharge from the vagina or penis, burning during urination, and pain in the lower abdomen. If left untreated, chlamydia can cause serious health problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), infertility, and ectopic pregnancy.
