Shingles

Shingles is a viral infection caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. It causes a painful rash with blisters on one side of the body, typically on the torso, face, or neck. It usually affects people who have previously had chickenpox. Symptoms can include pain, burning, itching, and tingling in the affected area. Other symptoms can include fever, headache, and fatigue. Treatment may include antiviral medications and pain relievers to reduce discomfort.
