What You Need to Know About Diet and Lifestyle Changes for Managing Eczema



Eczema is a chronic skin condition that can cause red, itchy, and inflamed skin. While there is no cure for eczema, making lifestyle and dietary changes can help reduce symptoms and flare-ups. Here is what you need to know about how diet and lifestyle changes can help manage eczema:

1. Avoid food allergens: Certain foods may trigger an eczema flare-up or worsen existing symptoms. Common food allergens that may trigger eczema include dairy products, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish and nuts. 5. Wear loose fitting clothing: Wearing tight fitting clothing can irritate already inflamed skin so try wearing loose fitting clothes made from natural fabrics like cotton which will allow for better air circulation around the affected areas which may help reduce itching associated with dryness!
